The Noise and Vibration Research Laboratory aims to contribute to environmental improvement and technological advancement through fundamental and applied research on noise and vibration phenomena. Utilizing experimental and numerical methodologies, we seek innovative solutions to various noise and vibration issues. In particular, our research focuses on analyzing the noise sources generated in various environments such as road traffic, railways, aircraft, industrial facilities, and residential areas, and developing effective mitigation strategies.
We also create noise maps to quantitatively evaluate the impact of noise exposure and utilize these assessments for policy development and planning. Through data-driven decision-making, we enhance the effectiveness of noise reduction measures.
Furthermore, we analyze environmental noise data using deep learning-based signal processing techniques to classify noise sources, and detect anomalous noise patterns across diverse environments.
Additionally, we build large-scale datasets and continuously improve the accuracy of AI models, driving advancements in cutting-edge technologies to address noise and vibration issues.
