연구소개

Prof. Seo currently works as an associate professor at the department of environmental engineering and leader of waste-to-energy laboratory in University of Seoul. His current research includes the fundamentals of chemical/environmental engineering with applications in waste-to-energy and waste upgrading processes. His research fields are 1) fuel conversion technology: plastic waste/biomass/coal pyrolysis, gasification, modeling, 2) fluidized bed technology: reactor design, experiment design and visualization, data analysis, 3) computational fluid dynamics (CFD): Gas-solid phase modeling using Ansys Fluent and Barracuda®. He has published more than 96 SCI(E) papers in peer-reviewed international/domestic journals.
